Carters Boys Patterns

Here are some boys patterns for my Carter's portfolio. My dad really helped me with the ideas of boy themes. He loved space as a kid.

Carters pt 3

Here's some more work for Carter's. They're an awesome company based in Atlanta, GA and I think I'd have a blast working there. This is the beginning of my portfolio to them. I'll keep posting work as soon as I finish it. I'll have some patterns, mock-ups, and some surprises to throw up on this blog soon. I definitely feel this set of characters is stronger than the last.

These were done in Adobe InDesign CS4.

Nightcrawler Pin-up

Doing a series of comic book stuff. Just wanted to get my hand back into it. I grew up with X-men and Nightcrawler is my favorite character. Thinking about doing a Gambit/Rogue piece and maybe some DC characters (so I'm not doing just Marvel or just DC). If you have any suggestions let me know in the comments.

The inking was done traditionally and coloring and touch- ups were done in Photoshop CS4.

Thesis Show

These are the photos from my senior show. You can see everything came together. The dress, the character portraits, etc. My environments and turn-arounds were in the book on the table along with my artist statement and business cards. The show went great and I saw a lot of old friends! This is my goodbye to Ringling.

Landscape Class Final

As part of the class final for my landscape painting class, we went out across the street from Marina Jack in Sarasota,FL and all worked on huge pieces of chip board in black ink. The class sat with our backs facing each other in a huge circle. It was the most fun I had had all year in the class. This is my piece of the assignment. It is duck-taped at the top because the boards was so cheap, it warped like crazy. I ended up taping it to hold it down. I had to toss this in the move back home.
