Craftsy Monthly Holidays

These were some cute craftsy monthly holidays celebrated/ recognized in America that I did for the English classroom at my JHS school in Japan. These are all A4 sized. Eventually I'm going to do a rainbow on the March page and some fireworks on the July page. Thought I would share these even though they aren't really relavent to this blog. This is what I do in my free time while I'm at work. Trying to make the classrooms a little more interesting for my students.

Fabric for Sale

My test swatches finally arrived in the mail this past Friday. I waited almost a month for overseas shipping from Spoonflower, but the result is worth it. I apologize that I took these photos with my cellphone camera, but the colors are true and quite vibrant. I really like the way the digital printing looks. I made some minor adjusts to 2 of the prints, but otherwise, these came out PERFECT.

This is a shot of swatches uncut:

This is my stack of 8"x8" swatches all nice and neat:

All 21 of my patterns are available for purchase over on Spoonflower here: link

I have girls, boys, floral and anime collections currently available for sale. I will be adding more adult collections in the future.

Purikura and Japan

Picture frames I decorated from when I was in Japan. I was feeling rather nostalgic and decided to upload them. The first one is from the summer of 2006 and the second one is from the summer of 2009. I really miss all of the friends I made while I was in Japan (especially the Nakagawa family that took care of me and my friend Allison for 3 weeks).

I know this is more of my art blog, but Japan is very dear to me and I wanted to share these with you all. I love the purikura around the edges. They are so cute and funny!
